Secret Butt Fun
Been in a bit of a Pound Puppies Mood. Not for the old series but for both. So I decided to draw the cast of the newest Pound Puppies series that plays on The Hub.
So you already know that I like the old Pound Puppies series despite it's silliness, you might wonder how I feel about this one.
Well First I must point out, that I didn't watch that many episodes, I usually depend on The Hub on demand to watch it since it usually airs when I can't see it, and no one posts the episodes on Youtube like they do for My Little Pony: Friendship is magic.
The Hub on Demand lately don't seem to be putting many episodes there and again focuses on the Ponies.
Confound these ponies, they drive me to miss Pound Puppies.
Anyway, I will just give my opinion on what I have seen.
So far, I must say I have to disagree with the majority of the people who say the old series is far more superior to the new one. I think the only thing the old series has over the new one would be better animation, style and character names. The new series pretty much follows the same scenario as the old one. Try to get puppy of the week adopted while dealing with some other side story. Unlike the old series, the whole adoption thing in my opinion, is a hella lot more believable. ( I mean as believable as you can get considering some of the concepts of this show) When I see the puppies get adopted by their humans in the new series, I see frikken puppies getting adopted, not humans in dog bodies moving into a home rent free. There isn't no stupid magic, no puppy power, and no cheesy over the top villains. The animation/style can be a bit of a turn off, but eventually I got used to it. So all in all, Pound Puppies 2010 is not a bad series in my opinion.
